On 15^th of May, 2012 the first meeting of the interagency working group of the convention for Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural heritage was held on the initiative of the National Agency for Cultural Heritage Preservation of Georgia.

The working group is comprised of the representatives of different ministries as well as of NGOs, patriarchate and the Secretariat of the Georgian National Commission for UNESCO. The member of the secretariat of the Georgian National Commission for UNERSCO, Ms. Lali Meskhi welcomed the members of the working group on behalf of the commission.

The main topic of the meeting was creation of the register documentation and guidelines for its completion.
